Teen Romanian tennis star, Simona Halep, has undergone breast reduction surgery.

Simona is well known for her aggressive style of tennis and for (formerly) having gigantic boobs. Simona underwent the breast reduction surgery in 2009, when she was 17 years old, and had her 34DD breasts reduced to a more manageable 34C. Many of Simona’s male fans petitioned for her not to have the surgery, but she underwent the reduction anyways in hopes of improving her game.

Personally, I would have used the opportunity to score a major sponsorship from a sports bra company! Since Simona is well known for her super-sized breasts, she could have made a LOT of money off of promoting an athletic bra company (and wouldn’t have had to undergo breast reduction surgery!). But, too late now. Although I think that her decision to have a reduction is justified, hopefully Simona won’t regret it later in life. Undergoing plastic surgery at such a young age is often followed by regret.

Here are some more pictures of Simona Halep before she had the breast reduction surgery:

Her back was probably killing her with breasts that large. I applaud her for having the surgery and not caving to outside pressure. A C-cup is still pretty big.

i think she could have worked as a model or a pornstar she would have earned a lot of money with those knockers :D xD

    Who cares. She’s still hot.

I think it is great that she didn’t rely on her big chest for fortune and fame. She clearly has a lot of self respect and looks to go with it. How rare is that!

Man she disappointed me by getting breast reduction. Imagine all the fans she would of had with those big funbags flopping all over the place. Now she’s just
a regular player with no fans…she should of never done it…

dave you’re a pig so shut up.
    She did the right thing.

Truth is she went from very pretty to very average. That plus all those attractive scars. Looking at Google analytics her popularity has gone way down. Stephanie, you’re in that crowd of women that look at other women with beautiful breasts (D or better) and just assume there are back issues. Most of those back issues are due to a woman being out of shape physically. A woman’s body is naturally designed to handle it’s naturally sized breasts. Back and neck pain come mostly from being in poor physical condition. I’m betting Stephanie that you don’t have much filling your cups. No offense, jus’ sayin’. Don’t be a hater.

Most women don’t regret breast reduction surgeries. Most women regret breast implants than reduction. I doubt she will regret this surgery. She feels like she’s more than just a pair of boobs, unlike a lot of women these days that feel women are nothing more. Look at all the posts on this site about breast implants.

She actually wasn’t very pretty at all, she was always average looking in the face with ginormous boobs. She’s still not pretty, and she never was.

@Dan–it’s very immature and classless of you to ASSUME that Stephanie doesn’t have beautiful breasts already. Real nice of you to criticize women with beautiful breasts (C or smaller) because you fall into a group of men who only like what the media tells them to like because you can’t come up with your own opinions. Stephanie never even criticized Simona. You, however, have insulted Stephanie and many other women who don’t look like Simona. It’s comments like yours that make women with small breasts feel inadequate and then feel the need to risk their lives with breast implants. Also, if you had ever read interviews with Simona, you would have read that she didn’t like her breasts in her everyday life and found them uncomfortable. So I guess you’re just going to have to go jerk it to Simona’s before pics.

If she were not a professional athlete, she might not have had the surgery but, whatever the reasoning, this must have been a difficult decision to make. While I would consider myself a “breast man”, I have the utmost respect and admiration for someone who refused to accept a life of shoulder/back pain because of sexually frustrated idiots such as the most recent poster prior to myself.

You have three types of men in this world.

    1. Men who get upset with women who don’t get breast implants if her boobs are small, because those men know they don’t care what you think, and aren’t trying to please men.

    2. Men who don’t like breast implants and get upset with women who get them, because you know they don’t care what you think, and aren’t trying to please men.

    3. Men who are against breast reductions, and get upset with women who get one because you know they don’t care what you think, and aren’t trying to please you.

My breasts are not big, and they are beautiful. They’re healthy, and they’re mine. I certainly would never want to attract a guy like Dan. If that’s the type of guy women like Simona attracts, then by all means ladies, you can have them! I know I’m not missing out on a thing!

Her breast cup will increase when she gets older. My mother had a breast reduction three times. Her cup size, when she was 17, was HH, which was reduced to a B. It increased to an E or F during her mid-20s and it was reduced back to a B, and it increased a F in her late 30s. She had it reduced to a C. It’s now a D with a strong possibility that it’ll keep increasing. Now in her mid-40s, she cannot have another reduction.

She really hates having large breasts. Bad back, awkward sleeping position, ill-fitting tops, expensive bras. Since she doesn’t like close-fitted clothes, she tends to wear loose clothes, like a maxi dress, which causes her large breasts to make her look bigger than she really is. Her slim figure (and height similar to Meg Ryan’s) remains the same all these years, though, which is weird.

    • avatar Rachel says:

Not all women who have breast reductions keep growing. She’s probably going to stay the same size.

      • avatar Lily says:

And maybe not. Our bodies change about every ten years. Our boobs change different sizes. That’s why a woman who’s wearing a B cup at 20 will all of a sudden be fitted for a D cup ten-20 years later. Her breasts probably will get bigger, weight-loss and all that, but she’ll probably never be a DD again, which is what she doesn’t want, anyway.
