Sharon Osbourne Swears Off Of Plastic Surgery (Again) After Mastectomy

Sharon Osbourne has finally realized that her plastic surgery isn’t fooling anyone, and claims that she is done trying to turn back the clock by going under the knife. Apparently it only took a couple of leaky breast implants and hitting the big 6-0 to figure that one out. The television host has undergone a staggering amount of plastic surgery in the past, including a facelift, brow lift, butt lift, butt implants, tummy tuck, liposuction, body contouring, boob jobs, and even gastric bypass surgery – all of which has amounted to more than $190,000 total – but this could finally be the end of the road for the star’s cosmetic surgery obsession.
Prior to undergoing a double mastectomy to reduce her risk for breast cancer last month, Sharon discovered that her breast implants had leaked into her stomach wall, at which point she swore off all plastic surgery in the future. The Osbourne matriarch wasn’t diagnosed with breast cancer, but she did battle colon cancer in 2002, and she recently learned that she carried the gene for breast cancer, which prompted the preventative procedure. It wasn’t the thought of enduring unnecessary cosmetic surgery in the face of a double mastectomy that finally turned her off to plastic surgery though; apparently she is “just getting over the plastic phase look now.”
Sharon Osbourne can profess all she wants about giving up plastic surgery, but you may not want to hold your breath. Just last month, Sharon admitted, “Sometimes I’ll see a photo and I’ll think, ‘My face looks plastic’; it can look so unnatural from certain angles. Now I’m definitely, definitely done.” However, back in 2010, Sharon also said, “I got to the point where I realized I was abusing, I wasn’t respecting my body. I was chopping it, changing it, and it’s like, hey, you’ve only got like one body and you have to respect your body.” Sound familiar? She also swore off plastic surgery in 2007, saying, “I was following a dream. I’ve had enough.” Maybe this time she means it though. Maybe?

Having a double mastectomy before ever being diagnosed with breast cancer seems like such an extreme measure… could it have been just an excuse to get breast implants? Seems so insane either way you look at it.
None of these women ever look better, per say, they just look like caricatures of their former selves. Seems like fame breeds body dysmorphia.

Ozzy and Sharon weren’t even a couple before he was famous. They only started hooking up AFTER she became his manager which was AFTER he left Black Sabbath.
