Ever wonder why Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner appears to be an indeterminate age even as she nears a ripe 60 years old? Massive amounts of plastic surgery, of course! As the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star attempts to do just that, she is gradually looking more like a sister to Kim, Kourtney and Khloe rather than their 57-year-old mother. And as the Kardashian sisters also repeatedly go under the knife in a misguided quest to recapture their youth, the entire family is undergoing some kind of twisted Benjamin Button-like tragedy.

In October, Kris Jenner found herself on the cover of National Enquirer in an issue that detailed the $250,000 worth of plastic surgery the reality television star has undergone over the years. Comparing photos from her 1978 wedding to first husband Robert Kardashian to recent pics of Jenner, she is virtually unrecognizable. It appears that not only has the 57-year-old treated herself to a few nips and tucks here and there, she has essentially undergone a complete overhaul of her appearance.

Although the National Enquirer article threatened to spill the beans about Kris Jenner’s expensive plastic surgery overhaul, it’s doubtful that the outspoken mother of six cares if the whole world knows she spent $250,000 – a drop in the bucket for her and her family. And she probably doesn’t care if everyone knows what she spent that money on – facelifts, Botox, a neck lift, a nose job, a chin implant, breast implants, liposuction and who knows what else. In fact, in September 2012, she filmed her breast implant surgery to be aired on national television as a sort of Public Service Announcement to encourage other women to check the “shelf life” of their implants. All in all, Kris Jenner appears to be a tiny bit obsessed with cosmetic surgery, and it looks like her obsession has rubbed off on her husband, Bruce Jenner (but that’s a whole other story)! One can only hope that the Kardashian/Jenner clan gets a group discount at the local plastic surgery center.
