Antonio Gleidson Rodrigues is no normal 32-year old living in Brazil! Antonio has now bleached his skin to further resemble the iconic superstar legend, Michael Jackson. Antonio imitates the King of Pop for a living, referring to himself as the number one Michael Jackson impersonator in all of Brazil.
He has definitely worked harder than anyone to achieve his self-given tittle. Every day he spends over 4-hours practicing and perfecting his dance moves to be more like Michael—which is no easy feat, anyone care to moon walk? It’s not easy, I’ve tried many times! Antonio also spends 1-½ hours applying his Michael-ready makeup each day.
Antonio dedicates a massive amount of time to his image, but he has also gone through painful and potentially life-altering surgeries in order to get his look just right.
Antonio was once a humble drama teacher, but after his students suggested he looked like a pop star, he decided he might as well become the next Michael Jackson, literally.
5-years ago, Antonio underwent his first cosmetic surgery which included adjusting his nasal septum, not for medical concerns but because he wanted to reach higher notes when singing—you know, like Michael. Since this procedure his obsession has grown alongside his transforming appearance.
In an effort to be more like Michael, Antonio has gotten rhinoplasty. As of now his nose still looks completely intact, but I can’t help but wonder what his ultimate ‘nose’ goal will be. After all, Antonio is clearly not going for the ‘natural’ Michael Jackson, instead he has has cosmetic surgeries and bleached his skin in order to look more like the pop star after his controversial plastic surgeries and procedures.
In order to bleach his skin, Antonio had hyaluronic acid injected into his face—sounds safe enough right? He also had the gap between his front teeth fixed, his eyebrows tattooed, oh and he regularly gets Botox injections under his eyes.
But Antonio isn’t finished yet! He hopes someday to afford other surgeries like removing the wrinkles in his cheekbones and along his mouth, as well as putting more arch into his tattooed eyebrows.
Maria Doriane Bastos de Souza, Antonio’s aunt, is worried about her nephew and his obsession with everything Michael. In fact she tells reporters, “I worry for his health—I want him to come downstairs and eat a sandwich.” She also worries that one of his many surgeries will not go as planned.
Antonio was devastated by the news of Michael Jackson’s death, which seems to have fueled his transformation into the superstar even further. He considers all of the time that he puts into his impersonating the best gift he can give to his idol, the late Michael Jackson. Antonio says, “In my opinion, to lose that man—the greatest artist of all times—is a real tragedy for the world. There will never be another one like him- but I can try my best!”
Those Colombian drug lords really know how to party! Cocaine + boobs = fun, but what about boobs actually made of cocaine!? That may sound like Charlie Sheen’s ultimate wet dream, but cocaine stuffed breast implants are actually becoming a thing, when it comes to smuggling drugs across borders.
A women traveling from Colombia to Spain was busted at the Madrid airport with nearly 4lbs of cocaine stuffed into her “breast implants”.
Narcotics agents at the Madrid airport were conducting routine screenings of passengers, when they narrowed their search to a Venezuelan woman, who was traveling from Columbia to Spain. Upon questioning, the woman reportedly became extremely nervous and after a secondary pat-down by airport security, the woman confessed that the deformities detected in her breasts was due to the fact that her breast implants were stuffed with 3.7 pounds of cocaine. FYI, that much cocaine currently holds a street value of $75,000!
Upon her confession, the woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where her cocaine-filled breast implants where removed, and tested positive for cocaine. She is currently being detained by police and is being charged in Spain for “an alleged crime against public health”.
Other women have been busted in similar circumstances, which have raised the question of how to combat drug-smuggling via implants. Spain has a task unit that focuses on passengers traveling to and from countries with a history of drug production. The USA does not have such a task force, and has never caught anyone trying to smuggle drugs via surgical implants.Tags: cocaine, drugs
I am completely addicted to Botched on E! The show features some incredibly unique characters that have undergone hell and back to be “perfect.” Although instead of ending up perfect, these plastic surgery patients ended up botched. Thanks to Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif many people are getting a second chance to improve their ‘botched’ appearance.
This week we met a woman named Christina that had a botched tummy tuck and required some major help from the doctors. What makes Christina’s case so unique is that she is terrified of going under the knife, more so than your average patient. In fact, in the past she has had major panic attacks both before and after surgery. It doesn’t help at all that her last plastic surgery went bad.
When you first hear that an E! Botched episode revolves around a patient that is awake during surgery, you instantly assume that was in the past, and that on the show she will be put to sleep during their ordeal. Think again, on this Botched episode, a patient is actually kept wide-awake during her procedure.
Anyone who has ever had a panic attack knows how debilitating it can be; therefore the doctors did everything in their power to keep Christina calm and free from panic attacks. This included keeping Christina awake during surgery. While this seems more panic inducing to me, I’m no professional surgeon—or panic-disorder expert. Christina actually felt less anxious about staying awake than being put under anesthesia.
Christina is a pretty woman, but after having a botched tummy tuck, just after going through a divorce, her confidence took a major hit. Especially since her x-husband is already remarried to a woman that Christina describe as “always running around in her skinny clothes.” Not that Christina is big by any means; she originally underwent a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin she acquired after being pregnant multiple times. Instead of getting back her flat tummy, her first doctor gave her what Christina refers to as a “SpongeBob body.” Now, too embarrassed by her looks to date much, Christina needs help from the doctors on Botched.
Her procedure included liposuction to tighten up her belly, reshaping her belly button, and a scar revision that included fixing up her original botched incision so that it was below her bikini line. Dr. Terry Dubrow also paid close attention to the masses in her stomach, which were caused from old scars that became infected. All of this went down while Christina was awake.
Of course, drugs were used to numb Christina as well as make her sleepy. Still, without full anesthesia, the doctors start cutting and simultaneously talking to Christina. Due to her anxiety, and just being a normal human, every small bit of pressure caused her to yelp out in pain, but as she realized that she couldn’t really feel her stomach being cut open, she began to quiet down some.
Thankfully, during Christina’s procedure she at least couldn’t see what was going on, as a big blue screen was held up between her neck and lower body. Still, she knew what the doctors were doing, and I just can’t imagine being awake for that.
Dr. Terry Dubrow is incredible; not only is he 100% hilarious, but he is one talented plastic surgeon as well. Although if he told me he wanted to perform surgery while I was awake, I’d likely hit the Hollywood hills running!

Adult film actress, Christy Mack, sustained serious injuries after a brutal beating by her ex-boyfriend landed her in the hospital last week. Now, Christy’s friends and fans are rallying behind her and showing their support by raising funds for the plastic surgery 23-year old Christy will need to reconstruct her face.
According to Christy, her relationship with MMA fighter Jon “War Machine” Koppenhaver ended in May, but he showed up unannounced to her home in the middle of the night and proceeded to beat the hell out of her new boyfriend, before he turned his fury to Christy. The resulting injures include: 18 broken bones in her face, a broken nose, fractured ribs, a ruptured liver and missing teeth. During the attack War Machine also threatened to rape Christy and cut off her hair with a knife.
War Machine is currently on the run and is in hiding from authorities as he doesn’t think they will give him a fair chance to explain the situation. According to War Machine, Christy Mack is/was still his girlfriend, and he caught her with another man when he came home early to surprise her and help her set up for a convention. Although he refuses to turn himself in, he has reached out to Christy via his Twitter account and tweeted the following:
“@ChristyMack I love you and hope you’re okay. I came him(sp) early to surprise you and help you set up for your convention. I can’t believe what I found and can’t believe what happened.”
“All I wanted was to surprise you and help and do something nice…now this. I’m so heartbroken…in all ways. I will always love you.”
Friends of the former couple have said that War Machine and Christy’s relationship has been on and off the last few months, and they were photographed holding hands in public just a couple of weeks ago. In 2013, the couple got tattoos of each others names permanently inked on their bodies. War Machine got a huge tattoo on his neck of Christy’s last name, “Mack”, and Christy got a large tattoo on her shoulder that says, “Property of War Machine”.
Regardless of how complicated the relationship situation between Christy and War Machine is, what he did to her is disgusting and she’s lucky to be alive. There isn’t too much that War Machine needs to explain to authorities as there is no excuse for what he did to Cristy, who is 5’3″ tall and weighs in at barely 100lbs. Just for the record, War Machine is 170lbs and a trained professional fighter.
The fundraiser for Christy Mack’s medical and reconstructive surgery expenses has already reached over $63,000 and at this rate, they should be able to reach their goal of $100,000 pretty quickly. There is also a $20,000 reward being offered for information on War Machine’s whereabouts.
UPDATE: War Machine was apprehended by police today and is now in custody.
Jennifer Aniston has revealed to the world she never plans to alter her appearance with cosmetic surgery in any way. As we all know the pressure to look young in Hollywood has reached a point of impossible. At 45, Jennifer Aniston is around the age Hollywood women start clinging to the cosmetic surgery table in hopes of keeping their youth.
In a recent interview by Bobbie Brown for Yahoo Beauty, Jennifer Aniston gets candid about beauty and plastic surgery, saying, “I think what I have witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves. I am grateful to learn from their mistakes, because not I am not injecting sh&* into my face. I see and my heart breaks. I think, ‘oh god if you only know how much older you look.’
Hopefully her near and dear friends somehow magically have not read the big-time interview all over the media; otherwise Jen just spilled the beans on how she really feels about their faces. She goes on to add that she has to, “bite her tongue to stop herself from begging her friends to stop visiting surgeons.”
The Daily Mail has reported speculation over Jennifer’s comments being made towards her friend Courtney Cox, if so, ouch! And if she’s not referencing Courtney, whom is Jennifer slyly slamming?
Jennifer might not be made of plastic but she hasn’t always been so anti-plastic surgery. There have been rumors in the past about the star having various cosmetic procedures including a boob job, Botox and lip injections. Plus, Jennifer herself has readily admitted to going under the knife in the past. She has confessed to having had, not one, but two rhinoplasty surgeries. Of course, according to the actress, she did not do it for cosmetic reasons and only went under the knife to fix a deviated septum. Isn’t it strange that her nose mysteriously became smaller and straighter? Regardless, her current disdain for plastic surgery likely has a lot to do with her fiancé, Justin Theroux.
Turns out, Justin is not a fan of surgery at all, she shares that, “I also have a fiancé who will put a gun to my head if I touch my face in any way.”
She’s only 45, but still, with skin that flawless… she’s got to be doing something! And she is, she also shared during the same interview with Yahoo Beauty, “There are so many things that women can do today with technology in terms of LED light therapy, good lasers that tighten the muscles, and massages for your face—and don’t forget great creams.” She also shares that you need to drink a lot of water, never use too many products on your face, and get plenty of sleep. I will give it a try Jen; hopefully my results are as good as yours!
Rapper Iggy Azalea performed with Rita Ora over the weekend and they rocked the Santa Monica pier in a free show sponsored by Pandora. Iggy performed in a crop top and a pair of skin tight pink pants that showcased her famous curves, but if you peel your eyes away from her donkey booty for a minute, you might notice that Iggy recently had more plastic surgery!
Iggy is currently sporting a whole new set of lips thanks to some recent filler injections. Her extra plump pout was slathered in matching pink lipstick and she happily pouted for the paparazzi, showing off her latest surgically altered body part.
If you ask us, the new lips are a bit over the top and unnecessary, but it seems like Iggy just can’t stay away from plastic surgery as she needlessly tries to perfect her look. At 24-years old, Iggy has already undergone several plastic surgeries in her quest for fame and fortune.
Iggy first went under the knife in 2011, when she got her big ol’ fake booty, but more recently she seems focused on changing her face. Iggy appears to have had a nose job in 2012 and now she’s work, work, work, work, working on those lips…
What do you think about Iggy’s plastic surgery transformation? Hopefully she quits while she is ahead and focuses more on her music. Trying to fit into the weird plastic surgery paradox that has become the entertainment industry, has ruined way too many pretty girls, before they are even out of their 20’s!
And no, Iggy’s butt is not real either. Check out the pictures we dug up of Iggy before butt augmentation!
Looks like Brazilians are getting a lot more plastic surgery than ever before. At the end of July, the O Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper reported 1.49 million cosmetic procedures preformed in 2013. That’s 40,000 more cosmetic surgeries than American doctors performed last year!
Just over two years ago, here at Famous Plastic we reported that America was the number one country for plastic surgery. Since 2012 a lot has changed, including where most of the world’s cosmetic surgeries take place.
The most popular procedures in Brazil are liposuction and silicon breast implants. Although facial surgeries including nose jobs are on the rise. In 2011, Brazilian plastic surgeons conducted 43,809 nose jobs, and in 2013 this number jumped all the way to 77,224! That’s nearly double the amount of people opting for a nose job in only 2 short years.
Before you start thinking that every Brazilian has had some form of plastic surgery, you can’t dismiss the fact that many people are traveling to Brazil in order to undergo plastic surgery. There are a number of different surgeons that offer “cosmetic vacations” including a ride to and from the airport, meals, an English-speaking assistant, and the associated plastic surgery fees all wrapped up into one low cost.
For instance, if you plan to have a face lift and stay in Brazil for 5 nights, you can look to pay around $3800. While this doesn’t include the flight and some additional expenses, it provides a very reasonable rate for a face-lift, considering in the US a face-lift can cost upwards of $10,000, easy.
People are jet setting off to Brazil to undergo everything from cosmetic surgery to dental work. Many remain skeptical over surgery tourism, but with careful research and planning it is possible to find a luxury surgery facility that does a great job for much less money than any reputable American doctor.
Alongside fake breasts and perfectly carved noses, another popular cosmetic surgery, that people go to Brazil for, is the Brazilian Butt Lift. There is definitely a stereotype about Brazilian women, that they all have perfectly round, and rather large, butts. Perhaps that sparks the desire for locals to get their butt done, and for tourists to travel here and get their own amazing Brazilian behind. The procedure includes lifting and re-shaping the booty, and taking fat from other areas, such as your arms or stomach, to inject into your butt.
Brazilian’s are all about the booty, there is even a Miss Bum Bum competition held annually, pictured below is a 2014 contestant.
Brazil is known for having some of the best plastic surgeons around the world, including Ivo Putanguy, who is called the “Father of Plastic Surgery” and is responsible for teaching over 600 surgeons from around the world his techniques. Would you go to Brazil for plastic surgery?Tags: Brazil, medical tourism
Today the pressure to be perfect is everywhere, on TV, on the Internet, and now on social media. One app is trying to help give people a more confident selfie, but not without a fair share of controversy.
Modiface is an app that allows you to enhance your selfies in a whole new way, and for free. The app includes a Beauty Mirror that allows you to filter out wrinkles, change the shape of your face, plump up your lips, or lift your eyebrows. Sort of like a practice run for what type of surgery you want.
Parham Aarabi, the CEO of the face-altering software says, “Our idea was to apply a subtle, realistic change to a person’s reflection so that when someone put it on Facebook no would know it was an altered video.” Sounds sort of like what every great plastic surgeon will do for you. And in a world where we spend more time online sharing Selfie photos than ever before, this could be the new way to keep up with appearances.
L’Oreal’s version of the app is called Makeup Genius, it allows users to upload a photo of themselves and then change the color of their hair, eye shadow, lipstick, or whatever, in order to help women discover new cosmetic products. Modiface takes it a step further with the Beauty Mirror; altering users’ faces in ways you’d need cosmetic surgery to achieve in real life. Which obviously causes some to argue if the app is really helpful for people in a world so obsessed with impossible perfection.
The creator of Modiface doesn’t see anything wrong with her face-morphing app. Mrs. Aarabi believes her app is useful in many instances. Including, people won’t have to put on makeup or get ready before snapping a photo, knowing they can use the app as their cosmetic touch up. But what about when you have to go out in the real world—is there an app for that?!
Not to mention, some of these look-obsessed apps are being considered inappropriate. One mobile game called “Plastic Surgery For Barbara” has actually been removed from both the Google Play and Apple App Store. This came after one Twitter user started a campaign against the app. This user was @EverydaySexism, and clearly as their Twitter name suggests, they found the app sexist. And after reading information about the app, you will see why, especially considering girls as young as 9 were regularly downloading it.
While Mattel claims no involvement with this now-removed app, “Plastic Surgery For Barbara” starts out with an overweight version of Barbie and the following description: “This unfortunate girl has so much extra weight that no diet can help her.”
Now come on, that’s just horrible! Plastic surgery can be a great thing, but healthy weight loss is always the best option. And for some, bigger is more beautiful. To each their own, in reality being true to yourself is the most beautiful gift you have—with or without cosmetic alterations.
